Optimization of air conditioning of the ice stadium
Zach, Daniel ; Rubinová, Olga (referee) ; Blasinski, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis is divided into three parts: theoretical, calculation and experimental measurement. The issue of humid air and air-conditioning in winter stadiums is elaborately analysed in the theoretical part. In the calculation part, the dessertation focuses on the optimization of current draft of hockey hall air conditioning system. The hall is now in operation during the season, which means from September to March. In the dissertation are discussed two variants of the draft. The first variant is draft upgrade to year-round operation with condensing dehumidification. The second option is solved as a combination of air handler unit system and absorption dehumidification. This variant is also designed for seasonal and year-round operation of the ice rink. At the end of the dissertation are all of them compared in terms of annual costs. The experimental measurement is carried out on dehumidification of air from areas with high water gains, in this case swimming pool hall model. This problematics is solved by changing the speed of ventilator and using Peltier generator.
Ice Stadium
Kárník, Miroslav ; Barnat, Jan (referee) ; Pilgr, Milan (advisor)
The goal of the diploma thesis is to design and assess a steel structure of ice stadium in Česká Třebová. The ground plan dimensions of the load–bearing structure are 66 meters in width and 66 meters in length. The maximal height of the structure is 15 meters. The main frames are made of truss girders of elliptical shape. The girders are pin–supported on solid columns on both sides. The distance between the main frames is 6 meters, the distance between the solid purlins on the girder is 3 meters. There are two variants designed and compared in the thesis. In the first variant there are two-dimensional truss girders in the main hall, whereas in the second variant they are replaced with three dimensional ones.
Ice-hockey stadium facility and fitness center in Veseli
Malecha, Tomáš ; Klubalová, Pavlína (referee) ; Brzoň, Roman (advisor)
Master´s thesis deals with design of a three floor budilding of support areas for ice-hockey stadium. Specificaly they are changing rooms, snack bar and toilets, fitness center with wellness and administration premises.
Absorption of ammonia from an operational accident in the ice stadium
Ryšková, Marie ; Gal, Pavel (referee) ; Jecha, David (advisor)
This thesis deals with ammonia absorption in case of cooling machine breakdown at ice pool. Thesis is divided into four chapters. Theoretical part is focused on different methods of cooling an ice rink inside a stadium. Two basic principles are mentioned, how ice rink is created and what refrigerant is used. In the next part are listed valid standards, according to which the operators of ice pools proceed or may proceed to ensure technical safety. Essentials of emergency plan and breakdown preventions are also mentioned. Primary theoretical part focuses on gas cleansing by absorption and its basic principle, which includes Fick's first law, following with introduction to different kinds of absorption machines and its principles. Last chapter is a practical one, in which is the elimination of leaked ammonia by ventilation method and more ecological way – ventilation method with absorber. This cleansing method issue is dealt with mathematically by calculating absorbed gas to liquid using software MathCad.
Ice Stadium
Németh, Matěj ; Karmazínová, Marcela (referee) ; Pilgr, Milan (advisor)
The aim of this thesis was to design and assess two variants of steel structure thought as multifunctional ice stadium primarily used as ice hockey ring. Structure is situated in city of Hradec Králové, specifically in the district of Malšovice. Fundamental dimensions of the floor plan of the main structure are 80 × 54 metres, and the dimensions of secondary hall serving as a main entrance are 25 × 7,9 metres. Height of main structure in the top of the cylindrical roof is 18,4 metres. The transverse connections of the main hall consist of transverse double-articulated frames made of trusswork. Cladding is made from multilayer composite panel system made by Kingspan. Spatial rigidity of the structure in transversal way is supported by main frames and in the longitudinal direction is supported by a pair of transverse wind bracings. Used material is construction steel S235.
Industrial cooling systems
Doležal, Jan ; Horák, Petr (referee) ; Formánek, Marian (advisor)
This thesis describes the design of cooling ice rink. Cooling system design is based on a physical nature, measured data and observations from practice. The result is a proposal cooling system with the highest possible cooling factor, which uses waste heat for technology needs snow pit and hot water, in order to achieve the lowest cost of operation ice rink.
Roofing of the winter stadium in Jihlava
Mátlová, Michaela ; Horáček, Martin (referee) ; Pešek, Ondřej (advisor)
The aim of bachelor thesis is the design and check of the new steel (load-bearing) structure of the roofing of the winter stadium in Jihlava. The existing building has a irregular plan and the height of the columns is 12m. The new steel structure was designed with a width of 60m and a length of 96m. The load-bearing system consists of a spatial truss girder and rolled IPE purlins. The main load-bearing elements are made of S355 steel.
Roofing of the winter stadium
Kašpír, Filip ; Pešek, Ondřej (referee) ; Horáček, Martin (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor thesis is the design and assessment of a steel roof structure of the winter stadium in the city of Olomouc. The new layout solution takes into account the current dimensions of the stadium. Ground plan dimensions of the structure are 101x73 m with the maximum height of 30.5 m. The main load-bearing part of the roof structure is represented by a truss, which has the shape of an arch. The arch is latticed. With an axial distance of the upper and the lower belt of 3.0 m and axial distance of the trusses of 5.0 m. Spatial rigidity is ensured in the transverse and longitudinal directions by stiffeners, which are distributed symmetrically. The bachelor thesis contains a static calculation of purlins, truss, gable wall and of joints. The whole roof structure is then clad with panels.
Technological stage of roofing the winter stadium in Vyškov
Novotná, Nicolette ; Jílek, Jan (referee) ; Diaz, Yvetta (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the technological process of roofing the ice surface at the winter stadium building in Vyškov. It is a system arch construction. The work contains a technical report focusing on the given stage, budget, technological regulation, construction site equipment, machine design, time schedule and other technical documentation according to the assignment.
Analysis of the ice hockey stadium in Mělník and the proposal of marketing plan
Krejsa, Jiří ; Flemr, Libor (advisor) ; Voráček, Josef (referee)
Title: Analysis of the ice hockey stadium in Mělník and the proposal of marketing plan Objectives: The aim of this work is to elaborate analyzes of the state of the ice hockey stadium in Melnik and to create a proposal of a marketing plan for the stadium. The plan should serve to a more efficient functioning of the entire ice rink in the following years. Methods: The work analyzes years 2011-2013 where it focuses on the utilization of the ice surface, public skating hours and skating schools and analysis revenues and expenditures in the same period. Interviewing visitors, and competitive analysis of stadiums around Melnik were carried out. All values obtained from analyzes were subsequently compared with the national average values obtained from KPMG research. Results: The analyses identified the potential in greater efficiency of utilization of the ice surface and rental of advertising space. When comparing public financing is Melnik's stadium to the national average in the same size cities it turns out that Melnik's stadium is underfunded. The whole proposal of the marketing plan was compiled into 4 main sections aimed at attracting potential sponsors, increased use of ice rinks in the months of September to March, an increase in attendance of public skating and skating schools in the same...
